Where to Check for Custody or Records

For Multnomah County jail questions, start with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. The jail information line at (503) 988-3689 is answered 24 hours a day. MCSO administrative and public records mail goes to 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 350, Portland, OR 97214. The main phone is (503) 988-4300, TTY is (503) 988-4500, emergency calls go to 911, and non-emergency dispatch is (503) 823-3333. Public records requests may be emailed to prr@mcso.us or mailed to MCSO Communications Unit, Attention Public Records Request, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 350, Portland, OR 97214.
